This could be a great project for students to explore persuasive writing while also controlling the direction of their own learning. Students could work collectively as a class or in smaller groups to produce a "class newspaper". Not only does this task require students to collaborate and work as a team to produce the paper, but it will also provide them the opportunity to publish their work with the community. Definitely considering this resource in the planning of my mini-unit!
