Bloom의 texonomy에 따르면 겉햝기식 지식보다 딥러닝에 중점을 두어야한다. 허나 최근 Hattie 교수는 새로운 관점을 제시하는데 아이들에게는 딥러닝만큼이나 겉햝기식 지식이 필요하다는 것이다. 그 지식을 기반으로 딥러닝을 할 수 있기 때문에 교실에서는 디지털 기기를 활용한 방대한 자료탐색 수업이 오히려 적합할 수도 있다는 주장을 하였다.
