Development of technology within the classroom can aide the identification of contextual factors that may or may not contribute to effective use of technology in enhancing quality learning experiences. Factors such as organisational culture, teacher self-efficacy and their confidence and experience in utilising technology, resources and learner engagement all have to be considered to allow for an integrated approach. This article lays out the future of mobile learning. It points out that as children we may not be using mobile learning as much as we will when we are adults. As adults we have an easier time accessing mobile learning rather than children do. What I found most interesting about this article is that adults spend more time on their mobile devices rather then any other source of information.

Como todos los años el Reporte Horizon 2019 revela interesantes proyecciones del uso de la tecnología en el sector de educación superior. En el corto plazo, el rediseño de los espacios de aprendizaje y el diseño de espacios mixtos (presencial + virtual) están favoreciendo el desarrollo de tecnologías como el mobile learning y learning analytics, mientras que a largo plazo (5 o más años) se espera que tecnologías como blockchain y los asistentes virtuales hayan sido adoptados por un buen número de instituciones de educación superior.
