While not completely education-related, I found this source very interesting. I think as an educator we should be aware of the impacts of social media and if appropriate inform our students on how to conduct themselves appropriately online.

SCOOPS -- I began using Scoop when I was defining myself a LITE FEET DANCER. There was no single source of info about Lite Feet dance, a NYC Born Battle dance phenom and YouTube Sensation. I created LITE FEET SCOOP TO reference for my own resume but also to provide anyone interested a link to the multitude of YOUTUBE Channels, Sound Cloud and personal sites dedicated to this unique art form and the talented dancers who participate.

Would that it were so. I LIKE the idea of this infographic - that gamification is easy. I haven't found that to be the case, but like the idea. Our websites and content marketing must become more game-like to create the communities and engagement needed to develop ROI.

Nothing hidden about these "tips & tricks" - just standard every day library functions. This is not new, most these functions have been used since Win95, the days before we see the net as we do now. Nonetheless, whatever it takes for people to finally catch up and educate themselves about easier searching techniques!
