Here We can find different ways to read and internilize about one topic, probably the way which is helpfull for a person it is not helpufully enough for another, so we can try to make a difference in which of them are comfortable for Us  the time to study or learn something as a students or as a teachers, those differents ways are:  Retrieval Practice,mind Mapping,exercising Before Studying,Leitner System, Studying Before Sleeping,Feynman Technique. 
There we have another 3 tips to have a good and comfortable learning process ,switch up your environment,listen to background music and eliminate distractions.
