Macleay Vocational College in Kempsey on New South Wales’ mid-north coast caters for students aged 14 upwards. The school provides education to students previously labelled as being on their “last chance”, to give them a place to belong and make something of themselves.
Behind it all is principal Mark Morrison, who has been called “inspirational” for the way he has meshed himself in the low socio-economic community and made real change to the area and its young people.
