New analysis finds if Australian universities were treated like Australian schools, they would gain 11% in funding per year.

Education Minister Dan Tehan will on Monday meet with Universities Australia to discuss how to minimise the impact on international education providers.

With elections on the horizon it’s time we say enough is enough and band together as parents, advocates and alumni of public schools to demand an end to the special-deal culture that is holding our children back.

This latest announcement contradicts the prior policy papers from this government.

The public school sector caters for our society’s most disadvantaged. This is the school sector we should be actively celebrating and supporting through bold federal government initiatives.
