I've created this curation collection to save articles that help me understand what modern health in society is.  The articles here are general in nature and placed here to promote discussion. We advise that you talk with your health professional before changing any of your medication or treatment options.  Any of the online courses listed here may (or may not) be open for access or enrolment. Most are free to browse, some may charge a small fee if you wish to receive a certificate or record of learning.   Every effort is made to ensure that these links are up to date and be aware that some of these articles may be behind a 'paywall'. The numbers of sporadic (ie non-genetic) cases of MND have increased by 250% in the past 25 years in Australia. New South Wales towns including Griffith, Wagga Wagga and Leeton in the Riverina have rates seven times the national average. Coffs Harbour, Tamworth and Port Macquarie are other hotspots for the disease.
