Palliative care expert eases burden for patients. Dr Leeroy William, who is also an adjunct associate professor at Monash University, has two decades of medical career experience in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. He obtained his Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine in 2009 and a master's degree in clinical leadership in cancer, palliative and end-of-life care in 2016. He's a passionate facilitator of the Schwartz Rounds, a theme-based forum to support healthcare workers to process challenging emotional and social issues they encounter in caring for patients and families.
