I've created this curation collection to save articles that help me understand what modern health in society is.  The articles here are general in nature and placed here to promote discussion. We advise that you talk with your health professional before changing any of your medication or treatment options.  Any of the online courses listed here may (or may not) be open for access or enrolment. Most are free to browse, some may charge a small fee if you wish to receive a certificate or record of learning.   Every effort is made to ensure that these links are up to date and be aware that some of these articles may be behind a 'paywall'. More can be done to stop older people from falling, says physiotherapist Melanie Haley, who used the world guidelines for falls prevention and management for older adults to analyse falls rates at her workplace. As a physiotherapist who works in the public health sector with a particular interest in falls prevention, I find the failure of our health services to reduce the rate of falls for our patients and clients an ongoing bitter pill to swallow.
