Luxembourg has highest proportion in EU of foreign citizens | EU | Europe | Luxembourg (Europe) | Scoop.it

The study accounts for figures in 2014: across the members states, Luxembourg was recorded as having 45.3 percent of foreign citizens among total residents. And there's quite a jump from first to second- and third-ranked countries in the study: Cyprus and Latvia have the next highest proportions at 19.5 percent and 15.2 percent, respectively. 

On the other end of the spectrum were Poland (0.3 percent) and Romania (0.4 percent), followed by Croatia, Bulgaria and Lithuania, each registered at 0.8 percent.
