Colleges across the United States have been rocked by mass protests at institutions which began at Colombia University on April 17 and quickly spread to other institutions.

It can feel as if the battle against human rubbish and carelessness can never be won, it feels like you may as well sink into the putrid silt of the river along with the single use coffee cups that are lurking there.

The originators of the School Strike 4 Climate Action discourage "nasty" and "mean" signs from their next protests - which will likely be happening soon.
