Le storytelling,devient un atout des musées européens face à l'industrie du divertissement. Il leur permet de créer de l' "eduvertissement" (edutainment)en multipliant les expériences narratives sous diverses formes (audio, video, digitales, intercatives, en réalité augmentée). Le CHESS (Cultural Heritage Experiences through Socio-personnal intercations and Storytelling) propulse le storytelling au coeur des nouvelles expériences où s'immergera le visiteur du futur. L'Acropole à Athènes et la Cité de l'Espace en sont 2 exemples inspirés.

The lines at SxSW definitely tell the story: this isn't just the year of the story, it's the decade of coordinated, additive and interactive storytelling across multiple media channels for everything from entertainment and branding to education and journalism. It all starts with the story.

This a new age for enjoying performances. We invited the radio into our homes. We opened our door to televisions, to the internet and everything else that has come with it. But this is a reversal in the arts, where we the audience are being invited in. Theatre is no longer set in building- but like heart that defines the home, the audience will now define the performance.
